The Goodness In Failures And Disappointments

By Ogunfowote
Many do not see any good in failures and disappointments.

The fact remains that there is a hidden goodness, favour, and opportunity in thatr seeming failure or disappointment.

One man wisely said that failure is a back door to success.

Some have committed suicide, suffered many heartaches, high blood pressure and even heart-attack and the like because of the numerous failures, disappointments, setbacks they've suffered, encountered and experienced.

Some are even passing through this kind of situation right now in one area or the other in their life.
Are you facing a crisis in your life, are you experiencing setbacks, hic-cupss, sorrows, failures, disappointments, in-ability to meet up with responsibilities in your business, finance, marriage, love life, health, education, emotional and personal life?

Don't worry, all these are just the back doors to your stability, your glory in lifee, they are the gateways to your breakthrough, joy, happiness, success, marital stability, financial breakthrough and glory.

At the end of every tunnel, there is a light.
Look ahead, endure a little bit more, the light is ahead.
After darkness comes light.
It is at the break of dawn that the darkness is thickest, yet, no matter how thick the darkness may be, it won't stop the day from breaking nor the sun from rising.

If you're in such a position or situation, I have good news for you, wait a minute, before you consider taking a rash decision, before you throw in the towel, before you pack out of your matrimonial home and sue for divorce, before you drink that poison or commit suicide, before you pack up that business of yours, before you sealed up that store and run out of town, before you lock up that grocery store, before you file for bankruptcy, let me tell you a story:

Once upon a time, in a very remote Village, there lived a Farmer and his old, worn out donkey. This donkey has been spent out of energy.
In the Village was a dry well that the Villagers wanted to fill up with sand.
One day, the old donkey fell into the the dry well and started crying for help.
The Farmer who was the owner of the donkey sought people's help to lift the old donkey out of the well then the thought came to him that why the hassle? the donkey is already old and useless, the well into which it fell is dry and useless also, why not call the Villagers and fill up the dry well with sand, by so doing getting rid of the useless old donkey as well as filling up the useless dry well.

The people gathered together, shovelful by shovelful, they began filling the dry well with sand with the old donkey inside the well.

The old donkey cried sorrowfully and mournfully for help, but it only fell on the deaf and heedless ear of the Villagers.
Each crying was met with a shovelful of sand.

Then suddenly, the old donkey stopped crying and the Villagers thought that the old donkey was now dead.
They kept filling the dry well with sand shovelful following shovelful in a rhythmic order.

When the dry well was nearly full, filled to the brim with sand, suddenly the Farmer and the rest of sand pilers, to their surprise, saw the old donkey walking joyfully out of the well into freedom.

What Happened?

The wise old donkey used all the  sands piled on it as a mound to get out of the dry well.

How?

When a shovelful of sand fell on its back, it merely shook off the sand off its back and then stood on it. This it continued without stopping.

As the sand was rising, filling the well, the wise old donkey was also moving and rising to the top.
As soon as the dry well was filled with sand, the wise old donkey was able to walk into freedom.

You see, what seems to be the death knell of the donkey it made use to freedom.

You too can seize the seeming failures for your success.

Don't give up.

There is something good in what you're passing through.
There is hope in your seeming hopeless situation - all you need to do is just to hang on a little bit more and think of how to turn the situation around just as the donkey did.

Hang ON!

Your help is on the way, around the corner.

Cheerio!
